Started his real estate career at the UK real estate agent Gooch & Wagstaff in Amsterdam and was in this position jointly responsible for the acquisition of the first portfolios of Larmag in The Netherlands.
He joined Larmag in 1989 as a property manager, and was responsible for the redevelopment and the letting of shopping centre Magna Plaza as well as for the commercial management of Larmag’s real estate portfolio in general.
Michel Steer left Larmag in 1991, after the sale of the Dala portfolio to Folksam Property Holding, the real estate department of Folksam AB, a Swedish insurance company. He was jointly responsible for the real estate asset management for this portfolio until 2003.
He joined Hanzevast Verhuurmanagement in 2003 as a senior letting manager, and was responsible for optimising the occupancy rates of their real estate portfolio in the Randstad area.
Michel Steer rejoined Larmag in 2007 and is now responsible for Larmag’s commercial real estate division.
